Day 1 – Arrival in Jodhpur
Morning:
Upon your arrival at the Jodhpur Airport or Railway Station, you will be warmly received and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Take some time to settle in and freshen up.
Afternoon:
After a relaxing lunch, explore the bustling Ghanta Ghar (Clock Tower) Market, the heart of Jodhpur’s old city. Wander through narrow lanes filled with shops selling vibrant textiles, spices, handicrafts, and antiques.
Evening:
Enjoy the lively atmosphere of the market or return to your hotel for a restful overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Day 2 – Exploring Jodhpur
Morning:
After breakfast, visit the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, one of India’s largest and most impressive forts, with panoramic views of the Blue City. Explore its palaces, intricate carvings, and museum of royal artifacts.
Afternoon:
Head to Jaswant Thada, a serene white marble cenotaph surrounded by landscaped gardens. Then visit the majestic Umaid Bhawan Palace, part of which operates as a museum displaying royal treasures, vintage cars, and timepieces.
Evening:
Relax or shop in local markets at your leisure.
Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Day 3 – Jodhpur to Jaisalmer (Approx. 290 km / 5 hrs)
Morning:
After breakfast, drive through the scenic desert landscape to reach the Golden City – Jaisalmer. En route, stop at Ramdevra Temple (Runicha Dham), dedicated to Baba Ramdev, a revered local saint.
Afternoon:
Arrive in Jaisalmer and check in at your hotel. Rest after your journey.
Evening:
Visit the Jaisalmer War Museum, a moving tribute to India’s military heroes, with displays of tanks, aircraft, and stories of valor.
Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
Day 4 – Jaisalmer & Thar Desert Experience
Morning:
Start with a visit to the majestic Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Quila), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the few living forts in the world. Explore its Jain Temples, narrow lanes, and bustling bazaars.
Afternoon:
Discover the architectural wonders of Salim Singh ki Haveli, Patwon ki Haveli, and Nathmal ki Haveli — each showcasing intricate design and historical charm. Enjoy lunch and some downtime before the desert adventure.
Evening:
Head into the Thar Desert for a memorable camel ride across the golden dunes. Witness a spectacular sunset, followed by a cultural evening at a desert camp — complete with traditional Rajasthani dinner, music, and folk dance.
Overnight in tented desert accommodation.
Day 5 – Departure from Jaisalmer or Return to Jodhpur
